Every client that hosts with us has all the features below as standard on their sites. We do not push you into taking any set package, and instead tailor your web hosting specifically to your needs. We do not expect you to pay for resources you will never need. Typical examples of charges for clients hosting include :

  • 250 MB Disk Space, 2500 MB (2.5 GB) Bandwidth - £5.00 per month
  • 500 MB Disk Space, 5,000 MB (5GB) Bandwidth - £10.00 per month
  • 1 GB Disk Space, 12,500 MB (12.5GB) Bandwidth - £25.00 per month
  • 2.5 GB Disk Space, 25,000MB (25GB) Bandwidth - £40.00 per month
General Features
  • 99.9% uptime
    We guarantee that your site will be up 99.9% of the time we host it. This guarantee includes both network and server failures. If your site isn't up 99.9% in any one month we will issue a full refund for the month.
  • Daily backups
    Every server in our fleet has a Raid1 setup that provides instant backups. We also have a weekly offsite backup.
  • No Contract
    We have no contracts and no hidden fees! You are free to cancel your web hosting at any time without cancellation fees.
Domain / FTP Features
  • Unlimited Domains allowed
    You will have the power to create and host unlimited domains on your account through the use of add on domains. We can even split your hosting package over individual domains, each with it's very own control panel. The only limit you have is based on how much bandwidth and space you purchase.
  • Unlimited Subdomains
    A normal domain name looks like www.domain.com and a sub domain looks like sub.domain.com For example forums.domain.com is a sub domain name for a forum.
  • Unlimited FTP accounts
    FTP stands for File transfer protocol. Having multiple ftp accounts will allow you to give friends and employees their own FTP account. This will allow you to give them as little or as much access to your website as you choose.
  • Web based ftp
    You can upload your files directly from our control panel.

  • Unlimited MySQL Databases
    MySql is the world's most popular open source database. Many forums and other database driven programs require MySql to run. We use version 4.0.13
  • CGI
    Common Gateway Interface allows for your programs to be used with HTTP daemons. Most websites use multiple cgi scripts. You will get a cgi-bin; however your cgi scripts will work both inside and outside of it.
  • PERL
    Perl is a language that runs with CGI. We use version 5.006001
  • PHP
    Php is a server side HTML embedded scripting language. We use version 4.3.1 Most websites use php.
  • Python
    Python is a programming/scripting language that can be used on many different computers and operating systems.
  • Cron
    Crontab is a process in Unix systems that uses a Daemon called cron to execute commands for the user at a certain time.
  • SSI
    Server Side includes, refers to Perl based HTML commands that direct a server to generate on-the-fly contact for web pages.
  • Frontpage Extensions
    We support all versions of Microsoft FrontPage. Frontpage is a website creation tool that can be used to both create and upload your site when FP extensions are installed.
  • Curl
    Curl is a command line tool for transferring files using url syntax.
  • GD
    GD is an ANSI library dynamic creation of images. GD creates PNG and JPEG images, among other formats. We stay up to date with the latest GD version.
  • Image Magick
    ImageMagick is a robust collection of tools and libraries to read, write, and manipulate an image in many formats. We stay up to date on the latest version.
  • Streaming video and music
    We support Windows Media, Quicktime, and Real Media player allowing you to run streaming audio and video.
  • Free module Installation
    Need a special module for your program to work? We will install it free of charge within 48 hours.
E-mail Features
  • Unlimited POP Accounts
    POP accounts are used to send and receive emails through programs such as Outlook Express and Eudora.
  • Web Mail
    We use both Squirrel Mail, Horde and Roundcube. Web mail allows you to send and receive emails online by going to yoursite.com/webmail.
  • Unlimited Mail Forward
    You can setup a mail forwarder. Doing this will forward all your mail to any email address you wish.
  • Catch ALL
    A catch all email address will receive all emails delivered to non existant email addresses.
  • Spam Assasin
    If you enable Spam Assasin it will block most spam from reaching your e-mail.
  • Mail Alias
    Mail box aliases will allow you to setup multiple email addresses to go to a single mail box.
  • Unlimited Auto responders
    You can setup your email addresses so when they receive mail they will automatically reply back with your message.
  • Unlimited Mailing Lists
    Have a group of people you regularly mail? Add them to a mailing list so you can email them faster and easier.
  • SMTP
    We allow you to use our servers to send outgoing mail.
  • IMAP
    We support Internet Message Access Protocol. "IMAP permits a "client" email program to access remote message stores as if they were local."

  • Shared SSL
    We will provide your site with a self assigned shared SSL. SSL encrypts confidential data such as credit card numbers and passwords. Either a shared SSL or a private SSL is required when taking credit cards off your site.
  • Agora Shopping cart

  • Private SSL

    Our SiteStudio website designer is so easy to use an eight year old could create a complete website in less then thirty minutes!   • Chillisoft ASP
    If you have a site that requires Chillisoft ASP you can host them on one of our ASP servers for £5 a month.
